I always struggle to know when the meat is done because it's always pink. Any suggestions?

You could use a meat thermometer to be sure.

Wish I could find corn beef that was safe. Everything I've found for sale around here, the spices have been "helpfully" done with MSG. :-(

I guess I was lucky, right on the label ours said gluten-free, I will go look and see if I still have the bag for the brand...

ah I threw it away, but I will check at the store next time I go, which is tomorrow.

Even if it's gluten free, the MSG still renders it useless for me. My grocery store offers many gluten free items that are still chock-full of MSG.

Edit: Sorry, meant to include: But I'd be happy to know the name of it so I can see what ingredients are in it. :-)
