So I'm back. It was a good vacation, and I need to do things like that more often. I met a lot of great people, went on a bunch of interesting excursions, and also spent some time doing some serious soul searching for where I want to go with my life. My friend John was nice enough to give me the second card on his membership at the Museum of Flight. This weekend, on short notice, they had A-10s and F-18s showing up. We never saw the F-18s, but we managed to see the A-10s before they headed out.

So I just flew back from my High School reunion and (you can finish the sentence). Long post coming here, because I scribbled lots of notes while I was on the road. One of the more amusing parts of the Volcano National Park trip was the newsletter they give you explaining the dangers of the lava flows.

Not that I mentioned it other than in private posts, but for the last week I've been on the Big Island of Hawaii. This was a celebratory trip for the family -- my sister was being treated for cancer last year, and thus far, it looks like the treatments have been successful.
