I know a lot writers. Some of them are of  are very good. They are good enough that, when you read their work, it fires you up, makes you want to sit down and pump out some fiction of your own.

This morning, on Studio 360, they were discussing The Great Gatsby, and more than one person used the words, “…because I love that book.”  Part of it is the story, part the timelessness of the subject matter, part the language Fitzgerald uses.
