The USO Rocks My Face!!
I'm stranded in Dallas waiting to head to Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio for my AIT. Basic Training went well, I guess, but I'm definitly glad to be done with it. My mom, dad, brother, and Anne came down to see me graduate and Anne and I got engaged while they were here. It's such an amazing feeling to finally find someone like her. I had to leave at 130 the next morning, so it was kind of bittersweet. I won't get to see her for another month, maybe two.
I'm running on about 32 hours without sleep so far. The iPod I got keeps me busy though.
I'll have my cell phone and regular internet access now, so you guys can keep in touch with me whenever you like.
Not much else I can say online, give me a call if you want to here about the actual experience of Basic Training. There's no way I could ever type it out on a Weblog.
