That's... how do you even fight something like that? Considering it could absorb the energy directly from our mecha?

One possible method is to overload whatever it uses for capacitors.

Of course, that is presuming there is a limit.

That's the problem, the limit if there is one? Would still have to be feasible for us to produce. And given the technological difference between us and them?

I think the safe assumption is that even if there IS a limit? We are incapable of producing enough energy to reach it.

'Discordia' did prevent us from setting off the fission device, so that might be near its limits.

Who knows, but we do need to think more about this. I don't like assuming things like that. As much as I like to gamble? That's too big of one I think.
