27 Days of Happiness (Aug. 12 & 13)
I can't remember what made me happy yesterday. Oh yeah. In the beginning of Atsuhime episode 25, Iesada's pic amused me. So that was the only significantly happy thing I could remember. How lame.
Today was better. I got my Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism lenses. I've had problems with toric lenses spinning around in my eye, causing my vision to get all blurry during the course of a day. Even when I blink, it would get out of focus. I tried a bunch of different lenses like Proclear, Biomedics, Acuvue Advance, but nothing worked. Then last month Acuvue Oasys had a brand new toric lens that came out. I wore the trials for a couple of weeks and they hardly spinned in my eyes at all, so I was able to wear them for long periods of time and even when I did a little 1-hour shuteye too. Damn, these lenses are good. I have to thank our sales rep for letting me know about them.
The thing that made me the happiest today was finding out that even if you finalize DVD-RW discs, they can still be erased. Yes, for almost 2 years, I did not know this, so I feel like such a dumbass for wasting a couple of regular discs when I could've been using these rewriteables instead. I think I need to pick another set of these babies because I have a feeling that I'm going to use them more often.
