Buttercups, it is the first day of school! Of course, I am up early trying to finalize my syllabus and pick out the perfect outfit.  By "finalize my syllabus" I mean "checking LJ and Facebook" and by "pick out the perfect outfit" I mean "periodically glancing halfheartedly at my closet and laundry bin while checking LJ and Facebook."  I guess the beauty of maternity clothes is that my options are pretty limited: Although I have a very large, very full closet, the clothes that actually fit consist of three pairs of jeans (a no for the first class but sure to be the foundation for all future outfits), one pair of black pants (currently residing at the bottom of the hamper), five t-shirts and four sweater tops (none of which can be worn sans pants), and four dresses.  Looks like the dresses take it by default. I'm going to go with black and look artsy.  I realize that this list probably seems like a decent amount of clothes, but total is less than I would pack for a weekend away. I like to have options and not to be seen in the same outfit more than once ever, unless of course the person seeing me is NX, in which case she can look forward to the same old baggy sweatpants and ripped shirt pretty much every waking minute of the time I am home.  Which is why I don't like people to drop by unannounced.

In other news, I haven't really discussed my very lovely birthday weekend, which involved eating a lot of food with various configurations of people I love, going to a flippy cup kegger, and getting a mani/pedi courtesy of my PDF sister famousmiller.  And a lot of sleeping, since I prefer to be in my bed than pretty much anywhere else on the planet.

In other other news, my sister is confirmed to move here!  I'm so excited! Built in babysitter!  Er, I mean, good for her!!!!
