I just found out tonight that my dad had met one of the best and most talented writers in the world? William S. Burroughs? He said he used to play "gigs" at his house and hang out with him. Oh my god, I envied so many others, I never knew I could envy my own dad! I am now on "Queer" and again Ivy thank you so much for getting me that boo, I decided to try trainspotting in a little bit because it is written like a brit would speak. And I was on Party Monster (Disco Bloodbath's re-print due to movie release) But I got "Junky" by Burroughs last sunday. I am soon going to own every single book by him. Which I know will be terrible because I would want him to write more. Alas, he isn't here anymore. I should tell already if its not obvious that he died in Lawrence, Kansas where I was born (NOOO I never walked the yellow brick road or met toto or had a cowardly lion and a friend!!!)
Well, I should get going, I just needed to tell about William S. Burroughs. Who else knows of him or reads him?
