i get it. i'm sad about it but i understand, phish has to end before something bad happens, before they get old and drunk and boring and stupid or die, they have to say it's over now at a high point instead of waiting and disintegrating. and i'm under 30, trey, but i get it.
during the charlie rose interview, trey said that big cypress was the pinnacle. and i was there. i didn't go to many phish shows, only 4 including big cypress, but it makes me very happy to know that i was at the one that trey considers the best, the highest point of one of the most wonderful bands ever.
after the hiatus was over, i felt relieved and that i had time to see them again, but now i know i'll never go to another phish show. unless a miracle happens.
