Remember the grant I slaved over... and how I didn't take it as well as I could have when I didn't get it?
Well... last night I got a surprise phone call from Desire NOLA telling me I had received a grant for almost exactly the same amount of cash as the denied grant!
Their application process was much simpler - I filled out the form in 5-10 minutes unlike the first grant that took me weeks. I had actually forgotton all about applying which made last night's news that much more exciting.
