Moving On

This summer has started out pretty well for me. I'm four weeks post-op, and though my left leg has shrunk from the atrophy, I still have retained a good deal of strength. I now have the brace off, hopefully permenantly, and am walking pseudo-normally. I gained 25 degrees of motion when allowed to bend my leg as far as possible, and have 115 out of 130. So I'm still progressing at a great clip, though it is a looooong road before I can play any sports. I get officially re-evaluated in August to see how everything is healing. My operation report looked pretty bad, along with the orthoscopic photos. My lateral meniscus -cartilage- was torn so badly that they had to slice off the destroyed parts. My medial meniscus had a 12mm horizontal slice through it. Also, my ACL bone graft included a 11mm bore into my femur and tibia respectively. YIKES! I wanna drive my RX-7 and racecar!!! :)

Other than that, I'm almost finished beta-testing our new Hayaku Motorsports -www.hayakuracing.com- store where we're featuring deals on an assortment of performance parts for Nissans. 1st manufacturer's special comes online tonight! Hopefully we'll grow over the next few months!
