...is deviating from the original design. i haz no reds jaket no mores. Y??? but...i do have a purple tweedy capelet. and as Palin has been wearing heaps of purple lately, this is perfect.
i have become slightly sicky, probably from standing in the rain, watching/participating in the Prop 8 y/n protest on Deanza campus. t'was fun. i think i did ok on my mid terms. woot. now to do my projects for my Sat. class--oh fun!
the wetness of weather makes me mucho happy. t'will make going to the Duke, tonight, very entertaining, i'm thinking.
time for more meds and breakfast, and for ze writing of ze paper, me thinks. yes. this must happen. that, and two outlines--for two different speeches. jeepers creepers. i iz a busy woman.
volunteering on sunday@ planned parenthood, to call voters, and suggest voting no on prop. 4. this should be interesting. caeden is joining me, so i feel safe.
that will turn into Another Project for my saturday class. Such a Demanding subject, this women of color in the US, is...i likes it, tho. tis' good.
there's breeding happenin', out theres...i've heard that the S girl of me tattoo is expecting the delivery of another Gemini. wowza. :D should be a super cute baby, that's fer sher.
"The Darwin Awards" was fun, but "Fastfood Nation" was way too preachy in a not preachy way. should have been a documentary. i don't get why they did it as fiction. really rather pointless. it kind of dragged, the sound was WAY too low. and it just sort of meandered thru the story. nothing changed, but life is like that, alot of the time, especially with Corporations, so it was slightly realistic? meh. the use of lighting was nice, and they had EVERYONE they could get their hands on...bruce willis, wilmer valderama, greg kinnear, paul dano...avril lavigne...and kris kristopherson, who was totally fighting vampire cows. weird.
it's like it couldn't decide if it was serious or a satire. How sheltered do you have to be to realize that Just Because you open a fence, animals aren't going to come running through to 'Freedom'...? Cows are not the brightest of animals...and if you grew up in a pen, you'd think it was Normal, too.
which, if you think about it, white middle class college students who protest...DID grow up in Pens...they're called The Suburbs.
it was almost French in it's weirdness, this movie. mehh.
that's all i can say.
i have 'Murder Party' to look forward to. woot!
oh, I did see another Jim Chee movie. love me some Mystery! on PBS. woot. Adam Beech and Wes Studi rock my sox. and Graham Greene as a bad guy? wtf man. wtf. ;)
anyhoo...i'm about to pass out...time for grubbings.
