I dream of buying a home one day. Now would not be the time, as I'm only 2-1/2 months into a new job and I want to be absolutely certain that things are stable. I'm also a bit of a prima donna and wouldn't want a place that I had to do a lot of work on - it has to have updated plumbing & electricity and modern kitchen appliances & bathroom fixtures. I can deal with re-roofing, re-siding and replacement windows.

Good luck!

Well being only a couple months into a job is a good idea to hold off. Besides, wouldn't you want to move to Columbus first anyway? LOL

And the nice thing about doing a rehab is that if you get it at the right price, you can pay someone to do those things for you and you can have everything exactly as you want it...as any prima donna would want. :-)

Since I imagine it's more than one story, will you promise to be the one to sweep and vacuum the stairs? Or, will we have a staff? Will we sleep in separate rooms?

Honey of course we will have staff. I vote for separate rooms, a combined room, a study, a guest room, and a den.
