The Return
I was recently at breakfast with a bunch of friends and was chastised for dropping off the face of the earth. I really didn't. I dropped off of LJ for a while...evidently its the same thing!
So anyway I am returning and will at least start watching my friends pages more :-)
What's new in my life?
1) I finally graduated college and I am teaching voice part time.
2) A friend and I, perhaps foolishly, are making use of the great low mortgage rates and home prices to do some real estate investing. She is the one with the bucks so she has purchased two properties. I am in charge of all the work of finding contractors, dealing with real estate agents, all that fun stuff. One of the houses is a beautiful Victorian which I am going to move into and buy if all goes well, and she had to friends that suddenly expresses an interest in the other. So its not to bad to do real estate investment with buyers already lined up :-)
3) Now I have the fun task of getting ready to put my current house on the market. I know, I know the housing market is horrible. However since we are getting such a deal on the Victorian, I am willing to price my house low just enough to pay off the mortgage.
4) My new goal is to make music a bigger part of my life. I am working on some songs that I can perform at various open mike nights.
Well that's it in a nutshell for now. I am sure there is a bunch that I am forgetting, but it is a start.
