So, as ever things have been uneventfully eventful.
What have I been doing? Ahhh therein lies a whale of a tale my lad! So: Having decided to take my work back Underground in Atlanta, wherein many Cheap And Diuerse Entertainments And Tickets Therefore May be obtained. As is, I saw of course, the Bodies Exhibition, which consists of a couple of hundred actual samples of people that have been preserved in Poly Ethylene Glycol or similar and that are then cut up in interesting ways so that you may look into the hearts of men. Quite, quite literally. Anyway, the brains which you could hold were kind of good, but smelt oddly spicy. Who knows what that could mean? I'm confused anyway.
Ahh, where was I now? Oh yes, the Atlanta Aquarium where they had ALL THE FISH and of course Beluga Whales, which are big, white and not really what I expected to see in an Aquarium. The things they can do with Perspex nowadays are really most remarkable. The Cocoa-Cola Museum and the CNN building were also interesting places to visit, I even had the opportunity to read an autocue machine and bizarrely I was apparently very clear. How exciting.
We. Went. To. The. BAHAHAMAS!!!!! Huzzah! Friends who are travel agents eh? Anyway, we found out where Atlanta Aquarium had been getting its fish from. Grand Bahama was where I was and Our Lucaya was the hotel. Coconut rum is very tasty, especially when mixed with various things. There was a bonfire which has given me some interesting ideas for Fun And Games. There are photos and films at the usual spot. The next day we went and splashed around swimming with dolphins. They're much smoother than you'd expect, like the finest silk that's been oiled and flows, smoother and softer even than water.
Ahh.. the beaches are pretty and no doubt are why companies import sand from hither and thon to try and make what the Bahamas have naturally.
We came we saw we took our flight back. Nowadays I have a chest, it's not very big but it is I think a mark of things to come. So we shall see. Also the Martin Luther King Memorial centre was very interesting. I don't think I learnt much, but once placed in context the power of the good Dr King's speeches are very powerful.
