January went by quickly but has left me in a pretty good place, with most of my settling in processes sorted out including UK banking and NHS, and with a job on the horizon. Today makes two weeks in Leicester, during which the weather has been as hot or hotter than it was in Santa Monica, something I did not see coming. But otherwise it’s been quite nice.

I got to see three places in England; London, Peterborough, and Leicester.

London was the shortest and the most exciting.

Tomorrow I fly to London to visit johncoxon and attend Eastercon. I'm staying for three weeks, with a hop over to Spain to see my brother and sister in Malaga for a week.
