Lakes are Superior
Where would you prefer to be right now--mountains, desert, beach, other--and why?
I've always had a fondness for the Lake Region of Betazed. Although we only lived near Lake El-Nar until shortly after my sister Kestra died, and I was still an infant when we moved away, I've always been fond of the stillness and relaxation that lakes provide.
Lakes have such a soothing, calming influence on me, that I must profess that my favorite vacation spots always have a lake somewhere nearby. It doesn't matter whether we're on Betazed, on Earth, on Risa, or somewhere else in the galaxy - I'm happiest at a lake.
