I will be extending my post by four hours starting today. I think that it will be for the best, so that I can be sure everything is going smoothly. Last year around this time I extend my post of course, that was not the most healthy idea, and I am not being that extreme this time because this is a very busy time of year. People are up and about more frequently during the spring because of the warm weather, which means the bandits and thieves and murderers and other bad people are out as well. This way I'll be able to keep track of them all!! I also need to keep an eye out for that dangerous charlatan fortune teller!! If anyone sees him, let me know, and he will be dealt with accordingly!!!
But there are nice things about patrolling longer in the spring and summer because I love staying outdoors. In another month or so, I'll be able to sleep by my post at the gates too. Piccolo said there was going to be a full moon tonight, so it looks like I extended my post just in time to see it. I hope I will get to speak with Sir Culgan soon because I want to take the dogs for a walk around the race track. Sir Jess said Master Thomas had some free time, so hopefully I will find the dogs soon so that we can all walk together. It must be terribly dull staying inside all day doing paperwork, ah, unless he enjoys it, I suppose. Lady Sanae is going to Vinay, but perhaps I can look for some early flowers here while she is gone! I wanted to pick some the other day to press, but I do not think Eike would be very happy if I pressed flowers between his books. How can I be giving scoldings to JUAN people if I do things that would earn myself a scolding?
Sir Lucas should be back any day now!!!! The ice is completely gone, as far as I can tell, but for some reason Sir Tai Ho's house in the middle of the lake is still there....? I wonder if it is a boat and not a house, but if it really is perched on a slab of ice, I hope it's small enough that Sir Lucas won't notice.
