You Know What I Appreciate?
I was going to do a "You Know What I Hate" themed post, because I'm pissed off about something I just read. But then I thought, "hey, wouldn't a 'You Know What I Appreciate' theme say the same thing, but in a healthier, nicer fashion?" My internal monologue resoundingly replied with "HELL NO."
The fact of the matter is: I do hate some things, because some things are evil enough to hate. So here goes...You Know What I Hate?
1) Long-winded and nonsensical political arguments/rants
2) Dirty/angry politics (case in point: Ann Coulter)
3) Sour cream
4) When smart people do stupid things
5) When good writers write poorly
6) Non-human, uninvited creatures who invade my living space
7) Movies that should be amazing, but aren't (X-Men 3, for example)
8) In general, something or someone not living up to its potential
9) Unwarranted pessismism
10) The term "queer," when intended to mean anything other than "unconventional" or "suspicious."
11) People who don't observe basic manners
12) Career politicians
13) People who think that wealth is a bad thing
14) People who are fundamentally lazy
15) Bad public speakers who nonetheless do tons of public speaking
16) Pam Gann
17) People who are fundamentally mean
18) Glossy, rather than matted, photos
19) Allergies
20) When my camera runs out of batteries, even though I just replaced them
21) Dick Cheney
22) Barbara Boxer
23) Nancy Pelosi
24) People who can't back up their political opinions
25) My grandmother
26) Test-only smog checks
27) People who hit first
28) People who don't hit second
29) The Religious Right
