Odd day
Yesterday, I felt unexplainably fatigued. Today, that fatigue was explained when I unexpectedly puked during my lunch break. Apparently, I've got some kind of disease. But a healthy dose of drugs fixed that right up.
Unfortunately, missing the second half of the workday caused some problems. Half the office is either out sick or on vacation, so the Assistant Dean ended up giving my tour for me. Ouch. He's an incredibly nice guy, but I can't imagine that he's too pleased that his employee saddled him with that. Sorry, Adam.
Luckily the disease seems to have been conquered. At least, its defeat is close enough at hand that I feel comfortable going to a midnight showing of Pirates. Hell, I got an illness-induced three-hour nap this afternoon. I'm ready and raring to go.
Also on a positive note, SYTYCD was good tonight. Jessica (or, as the host says, "Jessicer") and Jaymz (or Jamyz, as the typo mislabeled him) got kicked off. It was for the best. Jessica was like an uglier Sarah Jessica Parker, and Jaymz reminded me far too much of a fanged foe who shall remain unnamed. Also, both of them had really bad attitudes. Farewell, gloomy gusses.
