Summary: On Christmas Day, Steve and Danny receive the greatest gift of all.
Author's Notes: This is my fifth Steve/Danno (aka Steve/Danny) work. It's a little piece of fluff my Muse dropped on me for the holidays.
Yes, I know the OC's names are kind of lame. Blame my Muse if you don't like them; I used what she gave me.

"McGarrett," Steve rolled over in bed--where he and Danny were tangled in sleep--to answer the phone. He assumed the call was about a new case.
"It's Kono, Boss," his young Five-0 teammate said. "It's time. Chin's here. He and I will meet you and Danny, according to our plan."
"We're on our way," the Five-0 Commander agreed, sitting up in bed and turning on the lamp. "Drive safely. And not on Chin's motorcycle, right?"
"We will Boss, in my car. No worries," Kono responded. "See you there."
"Danno," Steve shook his partner awake, as he hung up the phone, "Danno, wake up! That was Kono. It's time. She and Chin are on their way to the rendezvous point. It's time, Babe!"
"Huh?" Danny was more than a little fuzzy. "What?" He looked at Steve as he slowly regained consciousness.
"I said, Kono called," Steve repeated, looking at his lover. "It's time. We've got to get moving."
"It's time!" Danny squeaked. "Why didn't you say so?" He bolted out of bed and threw on the nearest clothes and shoes as Steve did the same, each man trying to avoid donning the clothes and shoes that clearly belonged to the other.
Within minutes, Steve and Danny were on their way. Soon after that, they arrived at the rendezvous point and parked. Entering the building, they found Chin and Kono in the Lobby.
Rushing over to their teammates, Steve and Danny each took one of Kono's hands in their own. "Hey, Kono, how are you doing?" Steve asked gently, kissing his teammate's cheek affectionately.
Danny gently squeezed the hand he held and smiled. "What a way to spend Christmas Eve, huh?" he asked his teammate.
"I'm fine, Boss, but I think we better get a move on," Kono breathed, with a grimace. The "Fearsome Foursome" of the Governor's Hawaii Five-0 Task Force proceeded to the elevator, headed upstairs. "You said it, Danny," Kono breathed again, acknowledging the other man's comments, "What a way to spend Christmas Eve. But it's worth it, to me. I promise you."

Minutes later, Kono was gowned, monitored, and safely ensconced in a VIP Private Birthing Suite at Queen's Medical Center, accompanied by Steve and Danny. Chin was invited to join them but he declined, saying he felt more comfortable in the Waiting Room. Especially since Kono was his Cousin and, well, sometimes there were just some things about your Cousin that you really didn't need to know. . . or see.
As a brilliant Hawaiian sunrise became visible on Christmas morning, one loud cry, then a second emitted through the door of the Birthing Suite Kono, Steve and Danny had entered a few hours earlier. Within minutes, the medical team cleared the room. Soon after that, Steve and Danny appeared in the Waiting Room, each man carrying a small bundle in his arms and approaching where Chin was still sitting, even after all the hours of waiting.
"Chin Ho Kelly," Steve said to his friend, "Danny and I'd like you to meet--in the order of their birth--our son, Steven John Kelly McGarrett-Williams," he lifted his bundle so that Chin could see the newborn easily, "and our daughter, Danielle Mary Kona McGarrett-Williams." Danny raised his bundle so that Chin could see her as well. "Both perfectly healthy and, so far, happy."
"Oh man, they are beautiful kamali'i," Chin said as he looked at the new arrivals. "Congratulations, to both of you. But I thought that there was only one baby coming."
"We all did," Danny replied. "She was hiding behind her big brother the whole time. Nobody knew she was there until Kono went into contractions again as soon as he was born."
"Is Kono OK?" Chin asked, concerned for his Cousin.
"Yes," Steve answered. "Kono's perfect. She's resting comfortably and doing just fine. She's anxious to see you, too."
"Have you talked to Grace yet? Would you like me to call her for you?" Chin then asked.
"No, we haven't spoken to her yet," Danny replied. "We'll tell her later. She had stuff to do with Step-Stan's family today. We're supposed to have her tonight."
"You think she'll be happy about getting a younger brother and sister for Christmas?" Chin asked.
"Oh yeah," Danny confirmed. "After Steve and I told her about this, she couldn't decide if she wanted a little brother or a little sister. She got both, so she'll be thrilled."
"Well, I think you two got a couple of pretty good Christmas presents yourselves," Chin told his teammates and friends. "Mele Kalikimaka."
"Thanks, Brah," Steve said. "And you're right. With Kono's help, we got the greatest gifts of all."
