(no subject)
Well, I'm not back at work until next Tuesday now. Normally this would be good, unfortunately though the reason that I'm not at work is that I have my Software Analysis & Design exam on Friday morning. Paul's helpful advice for the exam was to not get too drunk beforehand - which, while good advice, isn't really something that I wouldn't have thought of myself.
The landlady had me doing tech support again yesterday evening - twice, in fact, first of all to set up her wireless router and then to sort out her email settings which had mysteriously gone loopy (port number 995 for POP3? What the hell's that all about?). Anyway, getting called out to fix email settings at half-past-eight isn't my idea of a great evening but hopefully I should get some cider out of it (which is always good).
