If you discount it, they will come
So last week after BAPA, I got a stack of Bristol coupons, because I was going to post something on our Intranet here at work (we have a Classifieds web page). I posted it this morning, and within two hours, I was out. I started with 80 coupons, and I currently have a backlog for almost 100 more, and the ad hasn't even been up four hours yet.
I already emailed folks at Bristol asking for a whole bunch more. And I also emailed a couple people seeing if we could get some kind of corporate event/discount thing going, because it sounds like lots of people at work would be interested in it.
Hmmmm...I wonder if I get a commission on a corporate event like that.
UPDATE: As of 4:10 pm on the first day, I need to get 144 more coupons. That does not include the person who responded for their vacationing co-worker who likes the faire and might be interested, nor does it include the person that asked for "a bunch" of them, because both they and their children love it and go there a lot.
ANOTHER UPDATE: As of 11:00 am on the second day, I'm up to needing 250 more coupons. And one person I was trying to convince to just buy a season pass, because they wanted coupons for every weekend.
