Okay. I definitely have relatively debilitating symptoms of PMS. I mean, I already knew I had this, in a general way. It's just extremely obvious this morning, I have tingly fear feelings for no darn reason. Life's going really well, I'm really happy, I just... can't....
Things I'm trying, after a little research:
- Multivitamin
- Fish oil
- Ibuprofin, low dose
Things I need to do a bit more research about:
- Herbal supplements seem to include black cohosh, chasteberry, evening primrose. Raspberry leaf tea. I'm a big believer in herbal medicine as the ideal method of applying the placebo effect to oneself, but I like to see if there's any evidence it has an actual effect, positive or negative, first.
Things to try:
- Brief yoga or short meditations.
- Taking it easy? Maybe?
Everything feels overwhelming today, and the idea that I have a week of this to deal with....
It's creepy that I haven't really noticed the mood swings because they've been so normal for my life. Stress does weird things to you.
It's good that the rest of my life is lacking in stress, isn't it?
Thinking about it may be stressing me out further, but I don't think not thinking about it would be helpful.
