The Thanksgiving plans for Canada were scrapped, too much hassle and John didn't get a pass from the Army, plus we had massive amounts of snow (for western Washington anyway), so my best friend came up and we all went to Seattle for the day. It was pretty fun, a lot of stuff was closed and John and I have issues, but she knows about them and didn't seem too uncomfortable. Went to the top of the Space Needle and got some pictures. I took some gorgeous pictures of the lake behind my house after the snowfall, even my mother complimented them.
Work is eh. Half the people won't talk to me and some of the trainers still act bitchy and complain about all the trainees and how they are ruining everything. They can suck it, I really hope the new store is better. About 3 more weeks till it is ready to go I guess. If things do not get better, then I will probably end up quitting at the end of March & working on my B.A. full time, taking extra classes so that I can finish before John gets out of the Army. I really like working and it is nice to save money, but if the job is boring and the people rude, I rather be in school. I wanted to start in Jan, but there are some issues getting things going and my advisor appointment was cancelled due to the snow and I am not sure when I can get another one, plus get my medical paperwork in order and the financial aid stuff. I am okay with it though, waiting till the end of March will give me time to settle into the new job and my CASA role. Plus this winter is supposed to be awful, so I rather not have to drive all the time.
