I've noticed a lot of convenience stores no longer have free matches. (I know this as a smoker who has sometimes found himself without a lighter.)

But beyond just asking for a free pack of matches--how 'bout they use something other than United States currency to roll the joint?!

Tripping or no, I don't think these guys are the brightest bulbs in the marquee.
