Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone!
Hmm...I have to decide where I'm living next year. The on-campus apartments, freshman dorms, the house i'm in now, or downstate. :P
My sister and my mom still want me to move downstate and go to college with my little sister...I don't know whether it would be good or bad...i think there are positives and negatives to both...so it's a very difficult decision.
gail's taking my room next year. she's in here measuring now. i should be at the sorority house, but...i'm not. i'm pushing back my hours so i'm not spending all 8 required hours for the week in one day, and so i'll have a better chance of reaching people for interviews. yays.
i have 2 speeches next week. and interviews due. at least i finally finished printing off interview sheets. yay me.
oo. i made a wishlist at T-shirt hell. You can see it here. Warning: some of them have swearing, and some of them may be seen as offensive. keep in mind, they are joke t-shirts. oh, and republicans: no offense, i really don't have a problem with you, it's just a funny t-shirt. in fact, i'm considering asking for the matching shirts that make fun of democrats. ^_^
thought for the day: pennies are useless, apparently. my friend was just saying we need to get rid of it. and it's true, they are mostly useless. how often do you actually use them? mostly you are just getting them back, and then they pile up, and it's stupid. but then we wouldn't have any money with abraham lincoln on it, which would just be sad. so, i think we should make a $12 bill with him on it. my roommate thinks $15. *shrugs* either is good. but...NEW thought for the day: if we DIDN'T have those wonderful, useless pennies you get back when you pay with real money, you could be losing out on up to 4 cents with every purchase! that could add up! like all those pennies in piggy banks across the nation. because you just KNOW you are going to use them someday, right? -_-
i want to start an online newspaper. the paper at my school sucks, and the only other student paper is a monthly...that hasn't even been put out for 2 months, as far as i know...so my bf suggested an online magazine/newspaper...and then got a whole lot less excited about it. but now i'm excited about it. but i need more people...hmm...
