(I'm so Over this...)
So... I have a confession to make. I have a bit of a fetish for twins and triplets.
Yeah, I know a lot of people think they're cute... but seriously. I am fetish-y. Back in the dark days of sims 2 when you could cheat your way into twins, I would do that every time. I'd end up with families with 6 or 8 children, and ALL of them would be multiples. And as someone who's semi-obsessed, I'm making a cry out to EA:
What's going on with these fraternal twins?
I know in real life you get both identical AND fraternal, but seriously- unless you create one in CAS, identical twins born in-game literally don't exist. Sometimes they look similar, but there's always a difference in the hair or eye colour, or the shape of the nose/lips/face.
I've been tossing this around for a while, and I really haven't encountered a single simmer who has ever had completely identical twins. I mean Fred and George identical. I-can't-tell-the-friggin'-difference-between-them identical. Like this;
I've never gotten confused between the different icons for my twins. Mum and daughter? Yep. Dad and son? Hells yes. But sister and sister? TWIN sister and sister? Nope! (Chuck Testa... XD)
Let me just give you guys an example of how non-identical my twins are. If they don't have similar hairstyles, sometimes they don't even look like sisters:
Completely different hair, eyes and skin tone. They grew up with NO similarity to one another at all (the one on the top was ugly as frick and the one on the bottom was purdy :D)
Is anyone else waving a 'We Want Identical Twins!' Placard? Or am I forever alone fighting a brave independant battle? Has anyone actually had completely identical twins in sims 3 naturally? Hmm. As my dear deceased friend Lewis Carroll would say:
