* Did the last edits for my "Getting it wrong gracefully" panel notes.
* Redmarked most of Vicesteed ch. 25.

What happened to these days? Hmm. Ah. Work, roofing contractor meeting, and then--I guess Saturday was a lost day too, though cleaning got done because we were having people over spontaneously, and we bought supplies to refinish wood things. But lost to creative productivity, I guess.

At Wiscon, elisem, a bead jeweler, sets out pairs of earrings. You choose a pair of earrings, she gives you a title, and you come up with a haiku based on the title. If she likes the haiku, you get the earrings. Mine were blue and gold flowerlike things, and the haiku went something like this:

I went to the program activity, "Write Here!" which had some writing exercises (character-creation, round robin writing, and all starting from the same story idea) etc that resulted in not one, but two story germs that had expanded a bit beyond what a usual germ is allowed--about a page in each case ( Read more... )
