Tales from the Elevator Shaft
I use the freight elevator to take mail down to the loading dock of the skyscraper I work in. Picture a massive slow-moving metal behemoth, with a camera glaring down from twelve feet up in the corner. Right out of a horror movie, really. The cleaning crew sometimes leave bags of trash inside as they go about their work. Today, there was a six inch by 12 inch strip of carpet inside a trash bag. *Soaked* with soapy water. Maybe a faint smell of bleach in the elevator.
What happened to that carpet that was so awful they had to cut out a strip and throw it away?
...I'm thinking bleeding head wound. I did mention the elevator is much like those in the horror movies, didn't I?
