There's some personal bias there, definitely, but I tend to disagree with the ideals of those who live in excess. Greed and corruption doesn't only exist in corporations and politicians, its run amok in the wealthy. Some people have too much money and it causes them to lose perspective on what they should really be living their lives for: Love, fairness, being quality people who leave behind a lasting legacy of helping out their fellow man... You know, hippy stuff.
It's one of the reasons why we're so disliked as Americans, the selfishness and the "its all about me" mentality.
I don't think everyone should be handed a golden ticket to make life easy, but I think the difficulties that plague the bottom 5% of Americans could and should be eased by the top 5.
And I think Ron Paul is awesome, but he's not going to win. I do hope that he can get Obama's ear though and help in the next 4 to 8 years.
