Too wide??
So I made my first cloth pads this week to try on my period. I wore the first one today on one of the heaviest days, and when I went to change it, noticed something like this: 
All of the blood had gone to one side or the other, and about half an inch of the width in the center of the pad was clean. It had kind of folded up while I was wearing it so that the blood couldn't get to the very middle. And then of course when I'd pull my underwear up/down, since it was so far to the sides, it left streaks of blood on my thighs... ick.
That's kind of TMI, but I was wondering what I might do to fix this. I was thinking that maybe making them a little less wide might help, but I'm not sure. The width of this particular pad was about 3 inches wide at that point when the wings were snapped. Thought I'd post here and see what suggestions you lovely ladies might have to remedy this problem. :)
