The kids left today for Israel. For 10 months, Or so they say. I say it is an exploritory year. I say yeah sure. But they are adults and are doing what they feel is best for them. It was very hard to be there and the tears ran down all our faces, i think mine more than anyone else. But we live in the 21 century, so there is skype and facetime to use. When I went we never called home, just wrote. ( and asked for money.) Today that they do not really know how to write a letter, or even if they do, they do not do it. So it was not really a good bye, but see you on the computer. I will still miss them. There is nothng like a live face to face. Especially with kids who are busier looking at themselves than talking to you. It will be okay. We will survive. I keep telling myself that.
