Took the oldest 4 boys to the Lion King today. An adventure. ages 11,10,8,and 7. For the younger, their first Broadway show. For the older, not, but excited anyway. We had orchestra aisle seats. Good grand parents, i guess. When the 'animals' entered thru the orchestra, the kids were mesmerized. They loved it. For two on them the other grandfather is sports grandfather because he takes them to ball games and hockey games. (He is also very proper,,,Grandfather). I am Broadway Grampa. Easy and relaxed. The best comment came from the 8 year old. At the beginning of the second act the actors came out singing production number. He said
"Grampa, what a great half time show!!!" Guess who has more influence with him LOL.
