silent films are full of sound
So this weekend started with this:
Okay, maybe not started with just that. But whatever. Friday night, I ended up with my 2 brothers and my cousin. We huddled up in my brother's king size bed and watched the Japanese version of the Grudge 2. What a hilarious movie! Fell asleep really late. No one really wanted to wake up. I really didn't want to. It was so comfy! The rest of my weekend was filled with lots of family time. Lots of fun. I got my first misquito bites for the summer, and I'm not altogether so happy about that. But whatever, right?
I got the new oasis cd today! I don't know if I would say I was ready for what I heard, but it is still wonderful. Beautiful! I wish I could go see them in Chicago. Too bad, I don't know anybody there! California is easy because I have relatives there. I've been there twice for music-related things. Wisconsin...that is only an hour or so away. It's not soo bad. But Chicago?! 6-7 hours away with no contacts. My mom will think that I'll get shot. Oh, the horror. I guess this means no oasis? But I will think about it. I don't think I give up so easy. Stubborn..that is moi.
