And no, I'm not talking about the fact that Martin McGuinness was going for Deputy First Minister, which is in itself deeply annoying. No, I'm talking about Michael Stone. He's a fucking idiot. The Michael Stone thing really is laughable. The sheer bonkerness of the bloke, and when he finally yelled out 'no surrender!' I lughed out loud at the news on the telly. I know he's dangerous, but he's so far down the road of self-parody that he's funny.

He is, very much. I know "no surrender" is the central tenet of loyalism, but he's just a cliché. A dangerous, violent cliché, but a ridiculous one at that. Also, he didn't seem to realise that he could just as easily killed his precious Ian Paisley. The getting trapped in the revolving door just showed how ludicrous the whole thing was!

monty Python did a sketch where agroup hijacked a plane and demanded it be diverted to Cuba.

They were then pushed out of the plane and landed in a quarry, where a bus drove by. They got on the bus and said "Take this bus to Cuba".

It makes as much sense as Michael Stone's 'brilliant' idea. He didn't even go in disguise, did he?
