Gorgeous little thing, great for first colorwork, easy pattern. Except that casting on at gauge for the ribbed cuff gives a sock that doesn't fit over my heel. Oh well. Ravelry reveals that others also had this problem and inspection from the work knitting guru reveals that, nope, I wasn't carrying my yarn too tightly, I really just need to go up a needle size.
It's still a nice, soothing pattern that is excellent practice, so I don't mind so much other than the fact that there wasn't a single mistake in it and now I've got to frog all of this. (I mean, I could seam up the bottom and turn it into a little bag for something but, eh, I'll just redo it).
Yarns are Knitpicks Felici in Clay and Risata in Black. Needles are size 0 Lantern Moon Sox Stix, so I guess I'll try going up to a 1 and see how that fares.
