Hallowe'en is Scary, but...

I know that this time of year has lots of things in it that intended to scare you. Let me tell you, they got NOTHIN' on a new high-thrill hobby I've just invented called "Shaving-with-an-antique-razor-wut-could-keel-you."

I got this "Rolls Razor" (vintage 1927) today for $15, which is a bit more than it seems to be worth on Ebay. I like it because sharpening it is basically foolproof, unlike a "cut-throat razor." Shaving with it is scary as hell, though. I tried it out, but chickened out when it was time to chave my chin and upper lip. They've designed it so that you can't REALLY kill yourself with it, but it doesn't mean you can't cut the ever-lovin' sheeyit outta yerself.

I also saw an absolutely killer barber chair for a whole lotta money.

I think my late obsession with Sweeney Todd has been getting a little ridiculous...

stuff, antiques
