The Eve before Christmas Eve

I will never complain about drawing fanart for my fandoms again.

For Christmas I wanted to do something extra special and since I learned how to make gingerbread cookies last year, I figured I'd make them again this year, hopefully making them better since I had some experience and knowledge under my belt.

After watching the claymation/stopmotion spectacular that was the Community Christmas special, I knew what I'd be making.

After three and a half days of cookie creation (1 for baking and 2 1/2 for decorating! Eek!), I've made something I'm pretty darn proud of; and if I never see another gingerbread cookie or frosting tube again it'll be too soon!

For those who want to see how the cookies looked before they were loaded with fondant, frosting, and sprinkles: This is the cookie dough, cut out by hand and here they are mostly done except for the faces (they were the hardest to do, believe it or not).

So glad I only have to bake these once a year.

community, happy holidays, my fanart
