(no subject)
I went to see my Tia this weekend. I left thursday around 830 to drive to NJ to get on a plane the next day at noon. I took nodoz Thursday night and I never will again. I had a good time in Florida. I got to see Tia and she was talking which is amazing to me because she had brain surgery on Wednesday. She looked like shit but I could tell that she was getting better. It wont be long til she is back to her normal self. We had a bday party for Jueleen, went shopping in Tarpon Springs and went shopping at the Countryside mall. We were out CONSTANTLY and I'm pretty sure my mother spent like $7500, easy. So I saw the pictures from my wedding on my mom's digital camera and I have decided that I am just not going to eat ever again. EVER. I hate my body, its so, VULGARLY DISGUISTING. I think I am about to skip out on work now and go home to shower and catch up on my sleep. -sighz-
My grandmother gave me a five strand pearl and jade neclace and matching bracelet, its an antique and I LOVE IT. Its exactly my style. She also gave me this cutting board from the 19th century with a matching rolling pin that is great, a set of antique silverware that is gold plated, and a music box with wedding bells on the top. She goes to auctions and buys all of this stuff and sells it in their antiques store. While we were there she went to an auction and bought a 11ct saphire with 2.67 cts of diamonds surrounding it. Its gorgeous. She only paid $800 for it and it came with a certification card that says the replacement value is $9000. I can hardly keep my eyes open. Last night our plane landed at like, 730p and Mike (mom's mike) picked us up at 8p and I left my Mom's at 9p. I got home around 11p and didn't go to bed until like 1230. Now I regret doing so much and sleeping so little. Every night in Florida we were up until like 1 or 2 ATLEAST and now my body is so tired it just wants to shut down. UGH. I just want a shower and bed and Mikey in it with me. I want to snuggle with him like last night. He held me ALL NIGHT. -sighz- I missed him soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much. I keep contemplating quiting my job, but then I won't be able to shop like I do. ;x
In Tarpon Springs I bought three bars of handmade soap, one ti tree, one olive oil, & one vanilla something. I bought a wool sponge (Tarpon Springs is the sponge capital of the world, when you wash with them they are supposed to preserve your skin making you look young forever, hence Ponce de Leon's obsession with FL ;x). I bought this Greek plate, it depicts a Greek god and goddess, I don't know which two, but yanno. And it just makes me happy. I bought Mike a tiki god rowing a boat and I bought myself a tiki fertility goddess simply because my mom kept yelling at me not to touch it ;x. I think I bought other stuff but I can't remember it right now. I'm gonna go now, in a half hour I'm leaving for the day.
