I dreamt there was a food court near my job, so on my lunch break I went to get some food. I picked Fazoli's and ordered some ravioli. My friend Daniel who died earlier this year was also there, and he ordered something too. It was taking a long time to get our food, so I started making jokes about how I was going to crouch down under the table and leave only my eyes above the side and stare crazily until they noticed me and made my meal. He started laughing, and soon we were both saying stupid stuff and howling with laughter, and I remember thinking that I hadn't laughed like that in ages, and that it felt good.
After a long time, I walked up to the counter and asked about my food. The woman told me that I'd be lucky to get anything, because they were busy. I told her I'd done that job for years, and I intended to add that I knew ravioli was easy and she should just make me one, but instead I said that I knew how hard it could be. I was mad at myself for backing down and asked my manager (who was suddenly there too) to wait for my food because I had to get back to work.
