Humor while Insomniac!
So I couldn't sleep tonight, and was playing WC3. Now if you'll remember, I've been playing this since the beta. The beta test nearly flunked me out of UCSC my final quarter there. So since the actual game was released, I've only played custom maps, not the regular WC3. My favorite setting is DOTA, Defense of the Ancients. I control a hero, I get kills, get items, break the other base. Fun stuff.
During a game tonight, my team falls way behind. I've got a score of 1-8, I've been killed 8 times and killed another hero once. Terrible score. My team is mounting a comeback in spite of my suckritude, and we're starting to kick butt when the host and one of his teammates says "Hey, we've got to go, the pizza and poker is starting" and when everyone starts flaming him for being a leaver, his teammate says "you losers go have fun in a game while we're RL" and they both drop.
My team goes on to finish it up in about half an hour, and I look for another game to join...and I see one with the same host. I join this game, and I see the teammate there waiting for it to start, and I say, "Pizza and poker didn't work out?"
The only reply was me being booted from the game before it even started. But I'm still laughing. Because it's funny, and because I have to be at work in six hours.
