another night of kickin' summer times - a mightily motley crew of sarah, gelsey, matt, myself, kristen, jen, anyel, kelsi, gil, kyle, emili, and eventually luke and abby and mark -

all went down to bask in the blues and dig some fireworks. we rocked out, chilled out, laid out, and just kinda...laughed and had some simply good times.
street performers beat on plastic buckets and seven-year old kids break-danced for ice-cream dollars - i don't know how else to describe it except as "raw" or "pure." it gave the same sort of vibe that you get from watching some remote tribe in the amazon get down to tree-trunk percussion - except not watching it on the discovery channel. i donno. humans are drawn to the beat. what else can you say?
the night was completely inclusive and awesome and this is why i didn't drown myself during high school - because i knew stuff like this would happen.
