I think I Hate Christmas
I have come to the conclusion that I HATE Christmas...
Hear me out.
Its one of the crapiest times of year.
People walk around with fake cheer and good will towards man. That whole idea of tiz the season to be jolly is ridiculous. Why right now; why not always. Are people that shitty and lazy to not care about people all year round? Its called being human guys. Seconding it off to a certain time of the year only promotes the opposite the rest of the year.
The holiday is over commercialized. People like me with little income feel obligated to spend money on useless crap that the recipients doesn't need or want. Frankly, if someone can't think of a good gift for me, I'd rather them not even bother. I will concede that it is nice to receive and give gifts; but no one wants to admit that gifts are the only real reason for Christmas.
It would be nice to have a holiday where people get together, enjoy each others company, and eat good food. Why does that sound familiar? Its called Thanksgiving. Besides, I personally don't like sitting in a room with aunts, uncles, and cousins having to listen to boring conversation. If you enjoy your family, more power to you.
