Recitation (a drabble) nonotthatone February 10 2010, 03:11:39 UTC
“I taste a liquor never brewed,” Lex quoted, his eyes bright with scotch and sin, “from tankards scooped in pearl ..."

“Oh, god,” Clark choked as feather-light kisses trailed along his thighs. “Are you going to recite poetry or are you going to ...”

“Both.” Lex’s evil was inexorable. “It’s a compliment to you, you know; not all the vats upon the Rhine yield such an alcohol!”

His tongue flicked; Clark groaned. “Lex ...”

“Mmm ... Say my name like that again.”

Clark complied. “Lex ...”

Lex shivered, defeated. “You beat traditional intoxication any day. Tell me what you want.”

“Lex ... more ...”

“Yes?”

“More ... Dickinson.”

^___^ Well, Clark knows what *else* goes along with the Dickinson, so good choice. :) Nice quotes, and I love the way Lex applies them!

Dickinson was a beautiful, subtly porny poet. I'm sure Lex will find loads of other quotes for Clark's enjoyment :)

"Clark Kent and Lex Luthor. I like the sound of that."

Lex knew that something was wrong with Clark. He left the castle and headed straight for the Kent farm.

...

"Excuse me. Mr. Kent."

"Uh, Lex, this is really not a very good time."

"I understand you and Clark have been having some problems."

"Yeah, look, I don't want to be rude, but I'd prefer it if you'd stay out of my family's problems."

"Believe me, Mr. Kent, I'm not trying to pry, but Clark's my friend. I'd hate to see his relationship with you fall apart."

"I appreciate your concern, but Clark and I can work this out." Jonathan walked up to Lex, looking not so civil anymore. He actually growled, "I want you to go. In fact, why don't you stay gone ( ... )

Hah. Take *that* Mr. Kent! Love that version, I really do. I try hard not to hate the Kents in the show, but the show writes them so mean... With that approach, Lex's going back to Clark is wonderful. I like his decision - and his trust that Clark would come back to him eventually too. Great little ficlet. ^_^

The show destroyed the Kents to me. They're good for vidding :P

Thanks, hon, for reading and commenting!

Lex's fourth wedding didn't even happen. The bride decided to kill him before the ceremony, which really was colossally stupid, if she was trying to inherit his fortune. Clark wasn't going to worry about her now; she was on her way to prison. Lex was his main concern, and the bottle of scotch he was draining fast ( ... )

I really adore a Clark sitting on a drunken Lex. That's the greatest image ever. ;D And Lex being so oblivious... Until Clark sits on him and forces it.

"Clark." Lex touched three fingertips to Clark's cheek, a gentle and tender touch. "I do." ^________^

“Why are you acting like this?” Superman hissed, trying to hold Luthor up without being molested, as the man seemed so determined to do. Even in their private quarters, the man was never that affectionate ( ... )

“Because Conner and I are obviously more careful than they are,” Robin replied. He looked at the two men in front of him. “And thus are capable of testing Conner before fooling around. So… do you make Luthor perform oral sex on you every time you “question” him, or was he just lucky this time?”

ROTFL!!!!!!!!!! ^_________^

Okay, this is sheer crack and sheer love together. :) I adore everybody watching them while Lex molests Superman, and it's because of... um, yeah. ;D That Tim was testing Conner so they could fool around is also very awesome (I heart Tim ^_^).

And this is love: Lex Luthor’s intoxication was the result of the intimacy between them, and not the cause of it.

I ship TimKon even harder than Clex, sometimes. I totally think Tim would test Conner, just in case.

Poor Kon. "My parents are having sex!"

First, that realization at the end is beautiful. as though it had just occurred to him that the impossible had happened, and that Lex Luthor’s intoxication was the result of the intimacy between them, and not the cause of it.

I was already on that page, thank you, but oh, so well put and beautiful and funny. Poor Connor.

And Tim! Outing him and Connor! Oh, dear.

But lovely setup. I like this idea quite a bit and am very amused by the way you played it out.
