you should always think of the good things that happen in life and try to make the best out of the situation that you can control and that is yourself. No one else in life can make you happy, only you can because you are the only one you can control. It is also not a bad thing to just have a few good friends, instead of a lot of friends that may not be so good for you. I think more lively conversation happens in small crowds. as far as your weekends go, sometimes just being at home and doing nothing is the best medicine after a long week of school and work. if x-box is your passion and of course ultimate release to the real world slumps then enjoy it and fuck what others may think of it, you are the one that you have to impress. I know for a fact that you have a hard time in the lady department becuase I have seen you through a big chunk of it and all women besides your nanny is a let down to you. (at one time or another). It is hard to find people to trust in this world and it sucks when you through away the friends that do make a difference and you do trust when it is over the heart of another (whom you can not control). Just be happy with what you have, a cold beer, x-box 360 and a wonderful career ahead of you when you are done being a professional student. Ann Arbor is a gorgeous town. I have only been there once in passing but I enjoyed seeing the stadium where the football games take place. It is nice to do what you want to do in life so you should follow that and because of where you are in your life (PRIME) you should be happy with the fact that you can make decisions that are good for you and not have to worry that others may hold you back. If you fell in love and got married while in college or even before you would not have the freedom that other bachelors have. You have the freedom of change and no commitment to others. It is nice to have comitment and another to share your life with but it is also very nice to be able to just think about yourself to. life does not end soon for you. when you are graduated from college is things going to change for you. another sugestion for you: Do not get hung up over girls that already have boyfriends, especially ones that are dating your friends. that will only cause you to lose those you care about. also if a girl is not interested in you, move on right away to someone else becuase she may never change her mind about you. most times she never does. If she has those sorts of feelings for you, she and you will know it right away. I do not normally rant like this, but I think that your post made me think about many things.
