As someone who runs a bi social/support group, I'd add to that first one that we get plenty of people who have come to id'ing as bi *from* gay as well as from straight. So this idea of a stopping-off point on the way to somewhere else? They're all stopping-off points, but like a new character in a soap opera none of us know how long we'll be staying.

That is also very true. I do understand that they're all stopping points. I totally get that. I myself thought for a quite a while that I was probably a lesbian, until it finally got through my thick head that yes, in spite of what people keep telling me, it IS possible to be attracted to women and men. And yes, I've known guys who say they're bi but who are really gay and thus fit the stereotype perfectly, but I've known people who don't, too. The train at the bisexual-stopping-off point, she travels both ways, methinks. (Loved the soap opera analogy there, btw ;P)

Also, I forgot to ask before, but I'm just kinda curious. How did you happen to come across my entry? I ask mostly out of fear that I've forgotten if I know you or not, but also, as I said, plain curiousity.
