(no subject)
Hmmm, it's been a while. I guess that's what happens when nothing too interesting happens-- you don't post.
Anyhow, I spent a week in Gundelfingen with the family that I know there. It was a relaxing week-- for the most part I had the house to myself during the day, as everyone was either at work or at school, and in the evenings I spent time with the family. One of the days I went to Europa Park, which is a theme park with representations of different countries in Europe. It was pretty fun, although I was spoiled by Cedar Point this summer. :P Also I kept thinking about Hetalia the whole time because I am several different types of broken, but there you are. Another one of the days I went into Freiburg to see some of my friends one more time. We had an unsuccessful attempt to go to the movies, and for the most part just hung around the Studentenwohnheim in Vaubon.
On Friday I took a train to see another one of the exchange students who stayed with my family a few years ago. I'm now at her parents' house in Kassel. It's an adorable house, I really like it. Friday night she took me to the ropes course where she works, and we did a nighttime climb. There was fog EVERYWHERE, and it was really eerie. I think it was easier for me, though, because between the fog and the dark I couldn't see how far away the ground was. :/ Then we had Adventures At Ikea yesterday, because she needed some stuff for her apartment in Goettingen.
So, yes. Next Friday I go to Bremen, where I will be living for the rest of my time. I'm so excited~
Also, happy German Unification Day. Or Tag der deutschen Einheit-- hope that's right. :)
