I've seen better days
Where I had no worries around me
When I'd wake up at whenever o'clock
Surf the net around the clock
Party til 2 then up again with dry mouth

I've seen better days
Where getting good grades was the least of my worries
Money was tight but things were okay
No car problems, no nothings

I will see better days
When I can travel and see the world
Sit and relax while the snow is falling
Have my own place away from home
With a commute cut in half.

I will see better days
When I leave before 6
And wake up after 7
And not hear one argument...

I will see better days...
But I thank god for these days.
