A/N: I had this in my head while I was making a cake for Aiba-chan myself and typed it away when I couldn't sleep (how old exactly am I that I can't sleep the night before Christmas? *laugh*) So now I have a little present for Ohmiya, Aiba and you♥
Hopefully you like it~ Merry Christmas!
It was only when his stomach started to rumble that Ohno Satoshi realized how much time he had spend on his latest piece of art. He put down pencil and charcoal, stretched like a cat and then got up and slumbered towards the door. He wondered lazily whether Nino would have already started to prepare something for dinner when he heard some rummaging from the kitchen. With a relieved grin on his face Ohno left his studio and crossed the hall to join his boyfriend.
When he entered the kitchen he found Nino standing at the counter with scales and cocoa powder in his hands, viewing the contents of the bowl in front of him looking highly concentrated.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Ohno asked while he snaked his arms around Nino's waist and pressed a kiss onto his nape. He put his chin onto Nino's shoulder and peered into the bowl. With a smile Nino turned his head and answered Ohno's kiss with a short one on one puffy cheek.
"Back from Planet Art?" he teased and pecked Ohno once more. The older gave an affirmative grunt and hugged Nino a little bit tighter, swaying him lightly to a song in his head. Nino chuckled when Ohno started humming and puffing air down his neck. "Stop that!" he laughed and wriggled playfully in Ohno's embrace. "No, really, I mean it." Putting down the scales Nino made a grab for the hand mixer. "I'm baking a cake for Ma-kun, let me work, will you?"
Ohno stopped dead in his movements. Seemingly oblivious Nino started the mixer and reached over for the oven to heat it up.
"Why?" Ohno asked eventually.
"Huh? Why what?" Nino asked absentmindedly.
"Why are you making a cake for Aiba-chan?"
"Because it's his birthday tomorrow. Honestly, you really need a diary as a reminder, Toshi," Nino shook his head with a half-amused, half-exasperated look on his face.
"No! I want to know why are baking!" Ohno had let go of Nino and stared at him with an aggitated expression on his usually calm face.
"Didn't I just..." Nino started but was interrupted.
"You never made me a cake. And I'm your boyfriend!" Ohno pouted. "I don't like it when you do something like this for just anybody."
Disbelievingly Nino pulled up an eyebrow. "But Masaki is not anybody," he tried to argue but the pout on the older's face only got more pronounced. "Satoshi," he sighed, "you do not even like cake. Why should I stand in the kitchen for an hour when you simply glare at it and then go on mumpfing whatever happens to get into the way of your mouth? Besides, I gave you this, this... well whatever it is that I gave you for your birthday last month. And it was damn expensive, especially given that all I know about it is that one apparently has to have one when you're serious about fishing..."
"This is a matter of principle! I don't want you to do this for anyone but me!"
Nino goggled at his lover. "Are you jealous?" he whispered in awe. He could count the times Ohno had been openly jealous on one hand but now... Ohno made to stomp away but Nino made a quick grab and pulled Ohno back to him. Resolutely looking anywhere but at his younger boyfriend, Ohno kept on sulking.
Nino shook his head in disbelief. "Toshi," he said gently and placed his arms around Ohno's shoulders. "Dear, dear Toshi." With a loving smile tugging at the corners of his lips, Nino gave Ohno's cheek a soft nudge with his nose-tip. He could feel the older soften up a bit even though he was still refusing to make eye-contact. "There is 100% no reason for you to be jealous, Satoshi," Nino whispered placing some soft kisses next to Ohno's ear. "150% no reason. You know how hard it is for Aiba-chan that he never had a 'real' birthday because of Christmas. This is just my way of saying, 'Congratulations! Don't you ever change~' He's one of my oldest and best friends and I want to be the one to make his day. That's all."
Ohno was relishing in receiving the attention Nino gave him (that means: more kisses and pecks) and was pouting more out of principle that out of real jealousy. Knowing how to appease his lover Nino silently started humming the chorus of 'Two' and picked up on swaying them both from where Ohno had left off several minutes ago. He didn't even have to look to know that Ohno's anger melted away with every gentle swing of their hips.
"You can't hum that song," Ohno sulked but his eyes gave him away.
"It's my song, you said. Therefore I can sing it or hum it or whistle it whenever I feel like it," Nino murmured resting his head on Ohno's shoulder. Almost immediately Ohno joined his tune and wound his arms around him too.
Sighing the older nuzzled into Nino's neck. "I'm sorry, Kazu. I just... well, I don't know myself. I know Ma-kun's just your buddy and there's nothing else between you..." Before he could finish his stomach gave a loud grumble.
Laughing Nino broke their embrace. "Oh Toshi, you better never change as well! C'mon, let me put this cake into the oven and then I'll whip up something for you. Only for you," he added batting his eyelashes.
Chuckling Ohno pinched his cheek but nodded.
"Can I lick out the bowl?" he tried to bargain.
